How to play a cue ball bank shot in Fuse

A bank shot is when you bounce the cue ball off a cushion before it reaches the ball you want to pot. In Fuse you need one whenever a bomb is tucked behind another ball and there is no straight line to it.

The angle you hit the cushion at is the angle the cue ball leaves it at, so aim at the point on the cushion that is halfway between your cue ball and the bomb you are going for. Fuse draws an aim line as you drag, which makes that halfway point much easier to find than it is on a real table.

Bank shots use up more of the fuse clock than a direct pot, because the cue ball travels further before it gets there. Play them on a bomb with plenty of time left, not on the one about to blow.

If you are still learning the angles, pick a lower difficulty. Fuse lets you choose how much aim assist you get, so you can practise banks with the line shown and turn the help down later.
